We don’t celebrate democracy or mob rule here on Teaparty Grassroots.

We understand that Constitutionally we are a representative Republic (if we can keep it!).

Additionally, although I do not speak for the grassroots everywhere, we have not as a group endorsed any trips.

Some of us are especially concerned about the 912 plans to march on Washington — feeling that we all have too much work to do in our own states and cities to be wandering across the country under an unknown umbrella group to endorse unknown leaders of a movement possibly organized by some of the very people who got us into this mess in the first place!

Let’s get real and fix our cities and states and cut the strings to Washington while we are at it. If ‘they’ won’t listen, just don’t send any money and don’t take any money from them either. It is worth noting here that the federal reserve isn’t federal and there aren’t any reserves either. So as a starting point require an audit of the federal reserve and an accounting for what has been sent and spent before sending any more.

In business we call it due diligence. In our founding father’s time it was called common sense. In biblical terms it is called reaping and sowing.

Whatever you want to call it Freedom is popular and unites people across party lines and in spite of left/right (D/R) attempts to keep us divided. The Constitution constrains government and limits federal powers expressly. Applied and enforced it would return us to limited government. I do so hope the people wake up in time and require accountability and constrain government so that people everywhere can be free once again.

We appreciate our northern states’ love of independence and our Canadian neighbors as well. We can learn much from each other and continue to guide all of our citizenry to protecting the rights and freedoms of all. Above all it is important to note that our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness ultimately come from our creator and not man!
